Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, in making the announcement today, said the one-off special payment is a token of the administration's appreciation of the civil service in the state.The payment will be made to all 3,577 civil servants on Sept 3, about a week before Hari Raya.
"The state government hopes civil servants will be motivated to work harder to enhance the delivery system and give better service," Lim said.
