Mohd Sabu and Cikgu bad arrested by Police

PAS vice-president Mohamad Sabu and PKR supreme council member Badrul Hisham Shaharin were arrested at separate locations on Wednesday afternoon.

No reasons were given but it is believed that Badrul’s arrest was in relation to an incident this morning, when as part of a group of 30 Solidariti Anak Musa Malaysia activists, he had tried to deliver a birthday cake to Prime Minister Najib Razak to commemorate the 31st birthday of murdered Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaariibuu.

The activists had also wanted to hand over a letter from Altantuya’s father, Setev, to Najib.

As for Mat Sabu, the popular PAS leader was detained after having a late lunch nearby to the Harakah office in Jalan Pahang, Kuala Lumpur.

Mat Sabu had recently urged all party supporters to gather in Ipoh in a show of support for Pakatan Menteri Besar Nizar Jamaluddin.
